Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

Poker Butler collects minimal data. All information is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any external server.

Required: Display name for player profiles.

Optional: Nickname, phone number, avatar photo.

We do not require or collect: Email addresses, government IDs, financial account information, location data, or any other sensitive personal information.

2. How We Use Information

All data you enter is used solely to provide the App's record-keeping functionality: tracking game session entries, calculating settlements, and displaying player statistics. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any other secondary purpose.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored locally in a SQLite database on your device. No data is transmitted to any external server. The developer of Poker Butler has no access to your data whatsoever.

A future version may offer optional cloud sync as a paid feature. If introduced, cloud sync will be off by default and will only activate if you explicitly enable it in Settings.

4. Data Retention

Session detail data (entries, transactions) is automatically archived after your chosen retention period (default: 90 days). Aggregated statistics are retained indefinitely but contain no personally identifiable information. You can delete all data at any time through Settings > Delete All My Data.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties. Data only leaves your device when:

— You explicitly share a settlement report (via the Share feature)
— Required by law (court order, subpoena)

Since all data is stored locally on your device, we have no data to share even if requested.

6. Third-Party Services

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, which may collect data as described in their respective privacy policies.

No advertising SDKs, analytics trackers, or data collection services are included in the App.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data through the App, please contact us.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

— Access all your data (stored locally on your device)
— Delete all your data at any time (Settings > Delete All My Data)
— Control your data retention period

9. Security

Your data is stored locally on your device using SQLite. The security of your data is protected by your device's built-in security features (passcode, Face ID, encryption). Since no data is transmitted over the internet, there is no risk of server-side data breaches.

10. Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010

This App is developed in Malaysia and complies with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). As all data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to any server, no personal data is processed by the developer. You retain full control over your data at all times.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the date at the top. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
